Albert’s Christmas Shelfie

Albert’s Christmas Shelfie

With Christmas approaching fast I decided to bring a bit of sparkle into Albert’s nursery. While he might not know exactly what’s going on this year it’s nice for him to have something new and shiny to look at (and it gives me an excuse to get the glue gun out).

I really love the little shelves in his room and I thought they were the perfect place for a quick and simple glittery tree garland. I made this by cutting out some Christmas tree shapes from some glitter paper and then glueing them to some twine using my trusty glue gun. (If you want to see a step by step guide of how to do this, then check out my garland DIY here).

I also raided our decorations box for some other bits and pieces to add some sparkle to his shelves. I’m going to keep my eye on him to see if he notices I’ve made some changes… 🙂

Are you planning on decorating your children’s nursery or bedrooms this Christmas? If you do I would love to see some photos (especially if they are a shelfie!) so please tag me in on Instagram – I’m @beakupcrafts – and use the hashtag #mychristmasshelfie.

Lots of festive shelfie love,
